The north star

Potential is widely distributed.
Opportunity infrastructure is not.

Oakbridge exists to close that gap with practical enterprise education, mentoring, systems and sustained support. Not rescue. Not lowered expectations. A credible route to economic agency.

The Oakbridge model

Agency + Structure

Agency without structure can become overwhelm. Structure without agency can reproduce dependence. Oakbridge holds both.

For founders

Bring the idea. Build the capability. Keep moving.

Oakbridge is for justice-impacted and other aspiring entrepreneurs who are ready for structure, practical learning and accountable support.

The barrier is the context — never the person. The pathway starts with participant-defined goals and builds the skills, systems and relationships needed to create lasting economic agency.

Questions, answered plainly

Understanding Oakbridge.

Clear expectations are part of building safety and trust.

What is Oakbridge Business Academy?

Oakbridge is a trauma-informed micro-enterprise academy. It combines practical business education, mentoring, systems and staged support so participants can build capability, income, routine and wellbeing through enterprise.

Who is the pathway designed for?

It is designed for high-potential people facing high barriers, including justice-impacted aspiring entrepreneurs, who are ready for practical learning, structure and accountable support.

Is Oakbridge a “second chance” programme?

No. Oakbridge leads with capability and future identity, not deficit. The focus is on building a credible route to economic agency rather than defining a person by what came before.

Does every participant have to launch a business?

No. If enterprise is not the right next step, Oakbridge keeps the person in the fold and supports a restart, a pivot or an employment pathway.

How will progress be measured?

Oakbridge is designed to track change against a baseline across wellbeing, capability, income, routine, connection and legal stability — while being honest about attribution and the support still required.
